What is EFT?
Emotional freedom technique (EFT) is a revolutionary alternative treatment method that offers healing for physical pain, emotional distress and even disease. It’s also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure. Without using needles, as in traditional acupuncture, this method uses the fingertips to stimulate energy points on the body. People who use this technique believe tapping the body can create a balance in your energy system and treat pain.
Developed by Gary Craig, this treatment was born from the idea that the cause of all negative emotions in the body, is a disruption of the body's energetic systems. EFT can be practiced by virtually anyone, anywhere. |
How Does EFT Work?
EFT works by tapping on acupressure meridians to release blockages. When these blockages are released, the problem feeling can be released and move through the body. The process starts with a beginning statement of what the problem feeling is and includes a complete acceptance and acknowledgement of the problem, while also introducing tapping. In the second part of this treatment, the client focuses on the feeling (fear) in the body, begins to tap while acknowledging the fear. Once that fear has left, the practitioner will guide the client to feel into other fears that will then come up from different aspects of the same situation or emotional state, leaving the body lighter and energetically cleansed.

Is EFT for me?
EFT is a very effective way of clearing out feelings, and when an unwanted feeling is gone, the limiting beliefs that you hold are released. New, more positive beliefs about themselves can emerge. Learning EFT also empowers you to take charge of handling your emotional state because you can use tapping any time you want to move out a painful feeling.

How to Prepare
It's super simple! Sign up for the event and mark it on your calendars!
Just dress comfortably and grab a bottle of water. You'll be seated in chairs for the workshop, so no need for yoga clothing, unless that's most comfortable to you! You can bring a notebook or journal along with you, if you'd like to take notes.
