My husband was at work, my young daughter was snoring away in her bed. As my monkey mind chased every possible road of every thought that came to mind, I somehow stumbled on a Yoga With Adrienne video on YouTube. Having no idea what I was in for, I told myself, 'This is dumb - but I'm doing it anyway.' So, I grabbed a few pillows off the sofa and a blanket from the trunk and I proceeded to take my first ever 60-minute yoga class from the comfort of my living room. Five minutes in and I was hooked.
Somehow, it cracked my shell and began to pull me out of a funk I had been in for at least a year. Not only did I know I wanted more, I also knew I needed to know how to teach people how to do this yoga thing. I wish for the life of me that I could remember exactly which class it was that I took so I could take this class again and again! Fast-forward a few years - I've not stopped learning and growing through my yoga journey since that first time pressing play.
I've developed a strong meditation practice on which I rely daily. It brings me unmatched peace, calm and clarity like nothing else. I'd love to help you identify as a meditator, too! I've been 200-RYT certified through two different yoga schools and am currently pursuing my 300-Hour Certification. I also carry certifications in Energy Medicine |

My favorite ways to practice yoga are through gentle, yin, restorative and yoga nidra. The slow, supported movements coupled with pranayama and Kriya breathwork practices are my happy place, allowing me to to create space within to encourage calm and grounding on and off my mat. I incorporate Energy Medicine Yoga and Kriya into just about every class I teach, my personal practices and randomly throughout the day. Just ask me about the grocery store line!

Aside from yoga, my family is everything to me. Having lost my bestie, my Mom, several years ago to Breast Cancer, I relish in every moment that I can spend with them, living each experience to the fullest and making memories that will last until the ends of the Earth. I love the water - it is truly my happy place, hence 'Sheer Blue'. While I've had the pleasure to love 3 cats in my life, dogs have my heart. Our current 4-legger, King, is our first schmedium-sized (small/medium) red haired little man. I always say he's lucky he's cute. He's got a BIG personality. I can't live without tacos, creating of any sort, all the plants, creating a life of wellness for myself and my family or REO Speedwagon.
