200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Next Dates To Be Announced Soon!
What?! How?! When?!
Yes! Let's get right to it! We're teaming up with Shelle Kuntz, lead YTT trainer and owner of Mountain Song Yoga and Yoga Hive Montana, to to offer a 200-Hour Lifestyle Yoga Teacher Training Program. Sheer Blue's own Wendy Schlomann will be guiding portions of this 200-hour training and we want you to be a part of our journey!
It says In-Person AND Online...
How does that work??? This program is a 5-weekend program + 8 mid-month check-ins. The entire teacher training program will be held online AND during any portion of the training that Wendy will be teaching from the Sheer Blue studio, if you're local, you'll have the opportunity to come to the studio for the training. The in-studio portion options will give you that in-person access to one of your guides for an extra level of one on one support and in-person, group atmosphere. Wendy will also be available for in-person support should you need it outside the training.

Mama's -- I'm talking to you!
If you know this is your time to join a YTT but you just can't seem to fathom how it's all going to work, let's chat! I've been there! I said to myself, 'This is NEVER going to work' about a million times before I made the leap and signed up. It WILL work for you, because once you decide you want to do something, the Universe begins to conspire to help you from behind the scenes and with a little smart planning on your part, everything will fall into place. Will every day of training be perfect - where the kids aren't super snugly, or hungry before you have a break, or need to hitch a ride to their friends house...I get it. I went through training with a 4 year old and a husband who worked second shift and a LOT of overtime. If you're swirling down that rabbit hole of there being no way you can pull this off, seriously, let's chat. I'll walk you through some of the things that I, and a lot of the gals I went through YTT with did, to make it work! And mamas...one of the amazing gals I trained with has 7 kids and a husband that owns his own business. She did it with flying colors...and you can, too!
This training can be done 100% on Zoom or through a combination of Zoom and In-Studio at Sheer Blue! You choose your own adventure!
This training is done 100% on Zoom! Our team has 4+ years experience using online systems and video conferencing to teach yoga, and we have completed six live stream training programs during the COVID-19 pandemic already! Rest assured, we're prepared for this unique opportunity! Our previous trainings and thriving students prove that Zoom has all the features we could ever want/need for this training.
Who is this program for?
Everybody and Every Body.
Everyone is welcome to join our 200-hour Online Yogic Lifestyle Teacher Training. And Yes! I mean, YOU!
Join us if you are interested in the time-tested spiritual map that yoga outlined thousands of years ago, or if you want to know more about the physical and mental healing that yoga can produce for you and you alone. Both beginners and long-time practitioners are welcome. You do not need to have a desire to teach yoga upon concluding this training...wait, let me say that again...

You Do Not Need to Have a Desire to Teach to Take This Training!
Many people take teacher trainings just for the self study aspect, diving deeper into your personal practice and that is perfectly wonderful! We firmly believe that if EVERYONE took a yoga teacher training, the world would be a much different place!
While our training will be geared toward preparing those that want to teach for all of the aspects that go into planning and teaching a public yoga class, developing these same valuable skills will only ask those that don't plan to teach to just as fully understand the material in their minds and own bodies. It's a win-win for everyone!

All we ask of every trainee is to come as you are,
with an open mind, a loving heart and a willing spirit!

What type of yoga will I learn?
Our program is inspired by the Kriya Yoga lineage of Babaji, Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga, and Energy Medicine Yoga. Trainees will learn how to sequence their own classes utilizing a creative combination of these elements, at their own pace.
Although no one is expected to teach yoga post-graduation, we do create space for practice teaching so that the material becomes ingrained in each trainee. We will experience many different styles including Yin, Restorative, transitions and postures, and experiment with sequencing a gentle yoga class (slow pace), a Hatha Flow (medium pace), and a Vinyasa Flow (faster pace), and whether you intend to teach upon the conclusion of the program or you're taking it for personal development, rest assured you will feel confident with sequencing and teaching many different ability levels! By the end of the training, you will have first-hand experience teaching a full yoga class! This is the BEST way to culminate your training! What makes our training different?
In addition to the Himalayan Kriya, Energy Medicine Yoga and emphasis on a habitual meditation practice that you will learn, our program is taught in a way that allows you to relate all of what you're learning to literally every aspect of your life. That's why we call it a Yogic Lifestyle Training. You'll be amazed at how the depth of the principle's applied to your life will shift your perspective, giving you a whole new outlook on everything from how you view yourself, to parenting and your approach to all of your other relationships...
Heck, even driving, doing laundry and getting groceries will change! |
Training Content

Beyond the scope of the required Yoga Alliance curriculum, we will delve into the following topics below.

Wendy Schlomann
Owner and Founder of Sheer Blue Artistry & Wellness - RTY-200, with Certifications in EMYoga Foundations, Aerial Yoga, Kids Yoga, Yin Yoga, Basic Ayurveda, Chair Yoga and Restorative Yoga and ThetaHealing Practitioner
As her monkey mind chased every possible road of every thought that came to mind one night, she somehow stumbled on a Yoga With Adrienne video on YouTube. Having no concept of what yoga was, having only imagined some older men sitting in white clothes and turbans flashing before her eyes...she pressed play...and never looked back. Five minutes in and Wendy was hooked. Not only did she know she wanted more, Wendy also knew she needed to know how to teach people how to do this whole yoga thing...and once she leaned into that, she knew in her heart that she wanted to teach others how to teach yoga!
She's immersed herself into several 200-hour YTT programs and since then, a handful of other trainings to boot. Loving the history and practice of yoga and what it has done to change her life, she is super passionate about sharing that love and knowledge with others. Wendy has found that a solid meditation practice has elevated her love of gentle, yin, restorative and yoga nidra styles of yoga. The slow, supported movements coupled with pranayama and Kriya breathwork and most recently, the addition of Energy Medicine Yoga practices are her yogic happy place, allowing her to create space within to encourage calm and grounding on and off the mat. Aside from yoga, Wendy love the water - it's her happiest place on Earth! Also pretty high on the list are dogs, tacos, creating just about anything, reading, REO Speedwagon, Kenny Chesney & the her ultimate true life's joy - hanging with her family. |
