ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
HOW TO BOOK - Must Pre-Register!
As a courtesy to our teachers who don't live within walking distance of the studio, we're asking for Pre-Registration for classes. If there is no one signed up 2 hours prior to the start of class, our teachers will plan to take the morning or night off!
Check out the schedule here on our website, or head to https://sheerblue.punchpass.com. You can even save this page to your phone's Home screen for quick access. Find the class you want to register for and click Sign Up. The systems will guide you through the checkout process. In addition to single class purchases, we also have class packages and memberships available. You'll find those all in the Memberships & Packages section. Multi-session passes and memberships are discounted over the single class pass rate for when you want to join us more, for less!
WHEN DO I SHOW UP?
Our Sheer Blue Crew will have the studio ready and waiting for you 15 minutes prior to the start of class. Classes will start exactly on time, so please plan to arrive early enough to find your spot and get yourself set up so you're ready to begin when class starts.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Be comfortable. No fancy workout outfits or expensive yoga pants are required to join us, (but some of them definitely do make moving your body through class a little easier. The struggle is real, folks!) but you want to make sure that you are able to move freely and that whatever you're wearing isn't going to hinder your ability to do so. You do you - if you're most comfortable in a tank and sweatpants, wear that. If you prefer a sports bra and yoga pants, wear that. It's your experience - just keep it clean and be respectful of the other members of our community.
SHOULD I EAT FIRST?
By no means do we want you to be starving when you come to classes, but showing up directly after a huge breakfast probably isn't your best idea. Light meals prior to class are great. You can totally grab your friends and head over to one of the local amazing options for food/drink when class is over!
HYDRATE
Water is so important! Be sure to bring a water bottle along to class so you can sip when you need to. Personal story - my first in-studio yoga class experience involved me tipping over my metal bottle on a wood floor in a room-full of 40 yogis. The instructor said, 'It's not a yoga class unless somebody tips over a water bottle.' It happens! Just plan for it - only we've got tile floors, so...it's going to be like, really loud. We'll all just laugh and move on with our class. Promise!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Typical yoga gear includes (but is not necessary and/or limited to):
Yoga Mat
Blanket (think a more stiff style - comforters are too puffy to hold your bum off the ground!)
Yoga Blocks
Yoga Strap
Bolster/Cushion
By no means do you need to run out and purchase all of this gear if you've never been to a class. We have a few mats and blocks that are available at the studio if you would prefer to try out a class before you lay down money for gear. We also have blankets, yoga straps, eye pillows and a handful of bolsters. If you would like suggestions for alternate things you can use for the above items, just reach out. We'll share some tips and tricks with you for items you can use that you probably have around the house.
